Lee is my go to jean. It always fits consistently the same, so I know that I can trust the style and size. I do now buy the short on the sizes because the average, always seems a little long. Maybe I shrunk and the Jean does not. Washes well without fading too much.

These use to fit well, but now the 16 short, are more like a 16 long....always have to hem them now. Hips and thighs fit well though. Kind of expensive, and the black fades after a few washings.
