Great for hunting and hiking. Sling bag is made from a thick, rugged material. It hangs conveniently and lays flat on my chest. Comfortable on my shoulder. An easy easy to carry my great. Multiple easy to access pockets.

The multiple zippers are way too noisy for a hunting bag. I cut the metal pulls off and replaced with soft zipper pulls so we will see. The synthetic material the bag is made out of is a bit noisy too. I love the camo pattern. I want to like it so we will see after I get it in the woods. edit: Replacing the zipper pulls has helped. Adding a 4th Maybe even has too many pockets. Using it as my trail cam go bag currently.

Superb! Not only is the retro Bear camo great and reminds me of my childhood (I grew up with archery and Bear gear/camo all around), this is one quality piece of kit. Excellent materials throughout. The only thing I would like to have seen is the plastic buckles be of a known brand like ITW NEXUS or similar good quality. But they do feel quite good so I have no complaints thus far. All the pockets and layout are quite good and flexible for many uses. The water bottle pocket is double retainer equipped and with a nice drain hole. The shoulder strap is good and thick able to nicely distribute loads for more comfortable carry. And I've had no issues using it for carrying field electronics gear or tools. I love it!

This is a great cross body bag. It has a belt loop that works great for keeping it in place and keeping it out of the way when shooting my bow. Great strong construction. Plenty of storage space without being to bulky. Great for a stalking hunt with a bow.

This bag has double stitching in all the places that count, and while there are a few places of misalignment, the structure is sound. I took a star off because of the imperfect finish. They are charging a premium price, and it is a premium product, but to get the five stars with a premium price, it has to be perfect. The camo pattern is an interesting spin on woodland green, tilting more to the browns. It stands out, so if I'm ever out with the gang, I'll not have any problems picking mine out from the others. This style shoulder back has become somewhat standard, and this is one of the better specimens I've used. If only they kicked their quality up a notch, they would have a five star item. I like this style of bag for a variety of uses. They are perfect for short hikes where you want to carry water, a snack, first aid gear, your phone, etc. You can use it hunting to carry ammo, range finders, radios, and other gear as well. You can fit a surprising amount of gear into this bag. The camo pattern is the legendary pattern From Fred Bear - a really nice tribute to him.

I've owned and used Bear products for over 4 Decades. I've used Rothco Product for a couple of Decades now. I think of this as a Side Saddle Cross Body Sling Pack that can be used for multiple purposes. This will work very well for when I'm Fly Fishing as well as out Bow Hunting. I'll definitely be using this when out with the Shotgun bird hunting this coming season. The product pictures are spot on. The cushioned pads for where the pack will be rubbing on you were well thought out and designed. I wore this around for a few hours with just thin shorts on and had it adjusted to ride right at my hip, just about Holster Height. It was very comfortable. Everything on this is Heavy Duty and should last for Years of Heavy use. I'm very happy with this and do recommend it.
