Finally a vest that actually is sized correctly for the notation. Heavy weight material and strong seams.Finally after 3 other vest purchases... XXL is what it should be. Others that were bought in XXL barely fit the guy I gave them away to. He is about 5 9 maybe 165 pounds.At 230 and 6'2" I can wear some light additional clothing under the vest. I do like them large for all day comfort. If you want something closer to a "proper fit" I would go one size less than you might think you wear. BTW I can carry a large Sekonic 758 meter, a Hasselblad 150 lens and several magazines in the large pockets without stressing the zipper and pocket snaps.

It's a nice quality vest, good fabric and stitching, but fits like a men's Large-Extra Large. Ladies, if you have hips it might be too small to zip.

This is a perfectly serviceable vest for my photographic stuff. It is not perfect, but I did not pay several hundred dollars for one with waterproof vest pockets and mesh all around. It will be better when the weather cools down, I do soak it with sweat after a good outdoor photography expedition. the pockets aren't padded, so the lenses need to be in some kind of covering. The fabric would be little protection in any serious rain. It is, however, allowing me to explore if I want to invest in something more expensive.
