I was so confused why the main zipper had a pull on each side, until I realized that the jacket is reversible and can be worn with the orange liner on the outside. It is a much better look with the black fabric on the outer. I wore this in snow conditions, and the black fabric did seem to be water resistant. Very warm, with sturdy, chunky zippers. There is a flap of fabric on the inside of the main zipper to keep out the cold. The zippered pocket on the left sleeve is a sharp look!
