OK. Originally thought this would be a durable work jacket, seemed well built and gave 4 stars. After 1 week. Reduced to 2 stars. Zipper was difficult to zip brand new. After 3 days the zipper bottom became unsewn making zipper useless. (and I was being careful with it). Many threads unraveling as well. This is NOT a dependable nor durable work jacket. I though being made in Mexico was a good thing, probable better quality if made in China.

I received a couple of these as part of my company uniforms back in the early to mid 90s and they both held up well for close to 30 years. I bought a new one after losing my last one and its exactly the same, right down to the label. Here's to another 30 years!

Giving 5 stars because the jacket overall quality and purposeful construction is a great bang for your buck. No 'loose-thread' problems as reported by others. Some complain of its roomy sleeves; however, it's not a design flaw. This insulated jacket is targeted for manual labor as is the costlier Dickies' version. This is the jacket to buy if your arms require a generous and comfortable range of motion--function over form.

Okay this is a very nice quality jacket. And plenty warm. I got the grey and it looks great. Over-all good sizing too. I am 6-0 and a bulky 285 with lots of muscle and the 2XL fits very well. I can wear it over just a t-shirt or fit a hoody under it also when it's really cold. Sizing good EXCEPT THE SLEEVES. And I don't have skinny arms. 18" biceps and 14" forearms but the sleeves are just too big around-- especially from the elbows down. Took it to a tailor to taper the sleeves from the elbow down and shorten them an inch or so. [Turns out that'll cost me $35.] That said, it's worth it b/c it's a great looking jacket with serious warmth. Also, I don't have any of the hanging threads that other reviewers are talking about. Hey Red Kap-- tighten up the sleeves a bit, add a loop inside for hanging on a hook when not in use, and you will have produced the perfect jacket!!

Seemed like a decent lightweight jacket at first but within 2 months the zipper broke and would need to be replaced.
