Stinks like toxic waste, even after being washed twice. I bought these based on a Wired review. The fabric quality is OK, and the neck seam is taped, but the odor when I opened the box was awfullike burnt plastic wire covering. I washed them twice, and used dryer sheets. They still smell toxic. These are not SAFE to wearonly something really noxious could be causing this stink.

The fabric isn't particularly "heavy". The pattern isn't great either - out of the two I purchased, I have one shirt where the markings look kinda like marble, whereas the other one just looks like it was doodled on with permanent marker. Not a fan of these amp; won't be buying any other "heavy" cotton shirts from this manufacturer.

I bought these to use as sleep shirts. Someone gave me one a few years ago and it was so comfortable that it's all I want to sleep in. Just the right fabric weight between thick and thin. I buy them a couple of sizes larger than I need. Normal shrinkage with first wash/dry.
