Good quality coat. The size is bigger than I expected but that leaves room for a sweatshirt on the real cold days.I would suggest longer Velcro on the cuffs by the hands. Had to have some added. Over all, pleased.

My last Rothco M65 lasted 15yrs and is still in good shape. The only thing I did about 5-6 yrs ago was apply water proofing. I had to get a new one as my old one fit alittle tight. The new Rothco M65 field jacket is just like my old one and I like it alot. Other than the crinkly liner the jacket is top notch and worth every penny. (my husbands M65 review)

I purchased both this classic version and the modern soft-shell version(which I also left a review so that you may compare). I'm very impressed with the construction on this coat. It's a little too heavy for work activities during say a 45-50 degree calm day. The removable liner makes it good for extreme cold, but the liner is very loud such as a nylon PT jacket. Keep in mind that this was designed to be worn over long sleeve bdu uniforms, therefore I have to wear over a button up shirt to keep the inside buttons and velkro pieces from bothering me. The soft-shell is the better choice if desired to be used over a t-shirt. I'm very happy that I bought both of them. The only reason I am not giving all 5 stars is because of the liner, I probably won't use it unless I can get it to break-in and become softer

Fits great. Well made for the price. The liner was included. I was a bit dissapointed in the zipper. It does not operate smoothly. I would prefer a durable nylon zipper. Overall a great jacket for the price.
