I used these parasols (bought 2) as decorations for outdoor bridal shower by just opening them up and placing them on either side of settee.Loved the quality, the look, they were great.

As noted in the description, this parasol is not for rain protection. It has a beautiful design and feels solid and sturdy, not something that would easily blow away in the wind. If you're looking for an attractive parasol wether for regular use or for a costume, this would be a great choice.
