It's around 50 degrees in the morning and everything under the jacket was warm. I was worried the thinness of the jacket would be an issue. But it's very warm. The inside pockets are made of a strong mesh material, and are well stitched into the jacket. I would recommend this for a winter jacket. Zipper seems to be high quality.
