Rothco Long Length Moisture Wicking Performance Boxer Shorts

I got these for my son for football. I got adult small (his normal size) and they're a little big but he still loves them bc they're comfortable and he loves the material!

I have a 34 waist and the medium was too loose on me, mostly at the waist, but pretty much everywhere else too. The elastic waist band is very cheap and doesn't seem like it will last very long at all. I can't recommend these.

These are nice looking and well made. They are the slick version of polyester, moderately thickvbut not stiff, and are more comfortable than I expected. Also... the fabric is not that kind of polyester that clings to dry skin like Velcro... a big plus. Fit-wise, I should have gotten a size smaller. The Large size was loose on my 38 waist. They were loose enough as to feel more like boxers than boxer briefs. The boys were free to roam about the cabin. The fly is rather small compared to other brands, but at least it has a fly. No fly, no buy!The double-layer of fabric is only the small amount that makes up the fly. Not much to catch the proverbial last-drop, let alone a dribble, especially if mister Plumber is hanging out to the side. There is no double layer between the legs (the taint-patch as I call it), so if you sweat down there then I don't expect these to absorb much before wicking it to your outerwear. In fact, I will relegate these to winter-wear briefs. As for care, machine washing and drying are OK on low heat settings. I wash most of my clothes on permanent press settings so this is perfectly fine for me.

I probably should have trusted my gut and went with a medium instead of a large for a more snug fit... however, I kind of like the more relaxed loose feel as it's a much more casual fit compared to most of my other boxer briefs. These feature a traditional style front fly, stitchless seams, a longer length and a soft, stretchy moisture wicking material. Of course, the desert tan color make them super tactical too. For reference, I'm 6 foot and about 200 lbs. Again, size large was loose and relaxed fitting for me, which is fine. Medium undoubtedly would have been a more athletic, supportive fit. Just something to consider when ordering. Overall, nice quality and style.

The build quality of these shorts is incredible. The material is rugged and much thicker than is typical for underwear. The sewing is good. However, they coast south. I wore them for about 24 hours and tugging them back up was a regular thing. By coast south, I mean the entire garment. The northward tugs started with getting the legs back up before resetting the waistband to its proper location.
