The shape is good. The beret looks good as is but looks even better if you shave the inside to make it a little thinner. Not much wool needs to be shaved off. Took me like 10 minutes to get it looking perfect. Would highly recommend.

It's perfect! As a veteran, it fit perfectly, didn't need to shave it, and it brought tears to my eye when I put my DUI on, remembering all my fallen brothers.

I despise the black berets because they’re usually terrible looking and don’t fit very well, but this beret was perfect shaped and seemed to be pre shaved as well. I definitely recommend and will be purchasing again in the future because I’ll most likely lose my beret again.
