I am an old man. Been wearing bibs since the 1940 era. There are none better. Some complain about stiffness. It will gradually relax and become the most comfortable bibs you can find. Wear them everyday. Have some for everyday and a go to town pair. Never had a buckle break. But you can order spares cheap from them. You have to order online if you want made in USA. Have Carhartt, had Dickies and other brands. they wore out fast and not nearly as comfortable. Had trouble with zippers in other brands. Never had a problem with these. For those who complain about shrinkage and fit - you didn't order the the right size. Those who say it comes unsewn. Don't know what you are doing but never had a stitch break. Have two pairs Carhartt hanging in the closet that haven't seen daylight in a long time. Threw the Dickies and others away. Buy online from Roundhouse and support your fellow Americans who pay taxes here.

Q: What's that hole at the top of my overalls and the hole in the bib (if applicable)?

A: They are for your pocket watch. (If you have one, you probably knew that already). The chain hooks inside the hole at the top and the watch goes in the special bib opening. Not every bib overall has these items.

Q: My overalls have what look like loose seams on the sides and top of the back. Is that a mistake?

A: Those "extra" seams are normal and very common in overalls.
The "tack", which reinforces the seams holding the overall front and back together, is always made below the top stitch. This makes the reinforcement more secure, but leaves a few "extra" seams at the top that naturally loosen and pop out over time.
They add some extra reinforcement while they last.
