The mouth does not move near as much as shown in video. The face is a fairly delicate, spongy material and had a bit of damage (tear across bridge of nose), however I was able to repair with black hot glue. Otherwise, the quality is good and I'm pleased with my purchase.

Somewhat large for a smaller female BUT HILARIOUS. Used this for Halloween as Johnny from Sing...nephew was the porcupine and sister was the pig.

The face looks great and I can actually see out of it!! It's comfortable and will store well. Also, this gorilla mask is not NEARLY as hot to wear as the lousy one that came with my gorilla costume, which is a big plus! The mouth articulation works much better than some of the other reviews noted-- perhaps they didn't read the directions regarding fit, where you are instructed to use the provided foam padding to fit the mask correctly so that the mouth works as expected!?!? Lots of fur falls off, but show me a gorilla mask that doesn't do that and I will show you a mask that costs much more than this one. I can't say enough how good the face looks. It's great. That alone is worth the price.

This mask was a crowd pleaser! My husband wore it and I wore: Rubie's Costume Gorilla In The Midst with Ape Hand Costume. Adorable couple's costume. We got tons of compliments and laughs. Why the 3 star review? The mask did not function as advertised. The mask is supposed to move it's bottom jaw when you talk or open your mouth. The jaw was frozen on this mask.
