As T-shirt companies have tried to cut costs, they have made hems smaller, and the overall quality of T-shirts has gone down. Most 100 T-shirts have hems that are sewn to maximize profits, so that the hems roll, like on the bottom and my husband ends up wearing a belly shirt because it rolls on him as he wears it. Not a good look for a middle aged man. Also the sleeve hems roll like he's trying to show off his arms. And it drives him nuts constantly unrolling the hems while he's wearing them. I bought him a 60/40 heathered navy shirt because of the color, for variation, and he asked me about it because it's the only one of his current T-shirts that do not roll. So I was looking more for cotton/poly blend shirts and found this one. I only wish there were better colors, but since he already had a navy heather, I bought the mid-blue heather shirt. He has bright blue eyes and his hair is starting to silver so the blues look good on him. I might buy him a gray heather, but beyond that there aren't many colors I can buy that he will wear. It's a pity. But he does love the ones he has, and they fit like a traditional T-shirt---not too skinny.
