The weights arrived covered in styrofoam from the packing material and would not come off. The screws for the stand were too big and would not fully screw in. As a result, the stand was extremely wobbly.

These are comfortable to use, the coating is thick with some give to it (like a slight squishy feeling which is great if they get dropped because there is a little bounce) and has not peeled at all even after many years.
