I wanted to leave a review because the one picture posted here in the comments was a huge help to me as far as sizing! Despite the terribly wrinkly appearance, this is exactly what we were looking for! My child’s school uses Flynn O’Hara but the pleated skirt there has no adjustable waist and my girl is super petite and they just didn’t work. While scouring the internet for any other options, I found this one. The material is a nice, thick one. Hopefully it doesn’t wrinkle easy and it was just the packaging but I haven’t washed it yet. My daughter is a petite10 year old and weighs 46 lbs and is 51 inches tall. She’s in the size 6X-large, whatever that is since the regular 6x was sold out. She typically wears a size M or a size 7/8 or just an 8. So it definitely runs large. The adjustable waistband was taken in quite a bit but the regular 6x was sold out and I wanted the extra length that a 6x would provide. So maybe the 6x-large is a husky? I have no idea. I do have a regular 6 on the way as well to compare. There is a 2” hem that I could easily let out so I think the skirt will last us all of this year at least and maybe even longer, depending on when the puberty growth spurts start! It’s slightly darker than the Flynn O’Hara one but not a huge difference.

Great skirt! I am actually an adult female, 29, and I needed a kickpleat uniform skirt. I did not see any such thing in “adult sizes“.So I got a size 16 child's. I actually could have gone with a 14. The inside has an adjustable band to make the waist tighter.It's maybe a tad longer than I would have liked, I wanted it slightly above the knee, and this pretty much covers my knee, but that's OK. But considering I am an adult, if you do get one of these for your child, it may even come down to their shins.It is great quality. Very thick and seems to be well-made.I would recommend purchasing this if you need one.
