Russell shirts are comfortable and easy-care and I've given 2 to my brother in the past. As a Christmas gift I wanted to give him a red shirt-a color that looks good on him. The search for a red shirt displayed this one from Russell. I was very familiar with the same shirt in steel blue. I ordered the 'RED' shirt. It arrived on time, however the color is clearly not a true RED, but more like CRANBERRY! The photo color was very misleading!

These are my go to pullovers for hiking in 28-40F weather (no rain/no snow). At first I was upset as the newer one''s fabric moves a little different/feels a little different (I just bought four new ones, and I have 4-5 older ones) but that was just superficial and did not change the functionality of these for me. The newer fabrics are prettier colors too (the red is richer and really pretty - I had given a former red one away as I didn't like the color) --- so better looking, same function. Please recognize that I'm a "hot hiker" and am almost 100 of the time wearing lighter clothing than those around me no matter what I'm hiking - so this is not a temperature recommendation but maybe a suggestion that there is a better range for yours. I wear it around the house and around town too (68F usually) when not exercising.

I bought the navy blue lightweight pullover 1/4 zip, and I’m happy to report it’s exactly what I expectedstylish and comfy! A few reviewers have complained that it’s "too thin," but folks, it's lightweightit’s right there in the description. If you’re looking for something to keep you toasty in a snowstorm, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you want a breathable, easy-going pullover for those days when you’re not looking to sweat buckets, this is your guy. The navy color is spot on, and it’s comfy enough that I plan on picking up a couple more colors. Seriously, I’m about to start a collection. If you’re into comfort, casual style, and have a healthy understanding of what "lightweight" means, I’d recommend itjust don’t expect to wear it as your winter jacket!

Russell shirts are comfortable and easy-care and I've given 2 to my brother in the past. As a Christmas gift I wanted to give him a red shirt-a color that looks good on him.
