Russell shirts are comfortable and easy-care and I've given 2 to my brother in the past. As a Christmas gift I wanted to give him a red shirt-a color that looks good on him. The search for a red shirt displayed this one from Russell. I was very familiar with the same shirt in steel blue. I ordered the 'RED' shirt. It arrived on time, however the color is clearly not a true RED, but more like CRANBERRY! The photo color was very misleading!

These are my go to pullovers for hiking in 28-40F weather (no rain/no snow). At first I was upset as the newer one''s fabric moves a little different/feels a little different (I just bought four new ones, and I have 4-5 older ones) but that was just superficial and did not change the functionality of these for me. The newer fabrics are prettier colors too (the red is richer and really pretty - I had given a former red one away as I didn't like the color) --- so better looking, same function. Please recognize that I'm a "hot hiker" and am almost 100 of the time wearing lighter clothing than those around me no matter what I'm hiking - so this is not a temperature recommendation but maybe a suggestion that there is a better range for yours. I wear it around the house and around town too (68F usually) when not exercising.

This thing is good for between seasons time, when is not too cold and not too worm. Is light and good looking. Good for machine wash.

Great quality and awesome fit! Sleeves are a bit loose at the ends which is a bit strange but overall a great shirt. M for 6 ft 180 lb

I own 3 of these. I'm rounder on the top- ver my barrel cheated. The arms are a touch long for me, but a size down likely is too short. The waist length is a little long for me- however it covers my belly and backside. Very comfortable. Durable. Retains its fit, form and color.
