Yeah, I was missing bolts, nuts, and washers. I bought some M10 70 mm bolts on my own, but the box was not complete. I just had to spend extra cash to complete the assembly.

It's functional and affordable but there's no spare parts if you get unlucky with trying to tighten locknuts or get screws that don't catch onto the thread. Also had screw holes that didn't line up and had to punch new holes to add screws to tighten certain spots

Update: I would give the CAP squat rack a five unless you are a power lifter. This three-star review is for the upgraded pull-up bar you can buy for it... Easy to add in place of the original pull-up bar on my rack. Gives more grip options. Good to be able to do parallel grip pull-ups and that grip makes for less swinging on hanging leg raises. Main con: Too smooth for maintaining lengthy grip. Other quibbles: not a wide enough grip option in widest part, and only can have a fairly parallel grip when going wide. Also, when doing reverse grip chin ups, would be more comfortable to have the narrowest grip option be slightly narrower. Overall, better than original bar but limited.

There are sharp metal burrs underneath the finish on both the center column and the grips. Obviously this is not what you'd want and clearly a production and quality control issue. The grip is significantly smaller in diameter than the one it replaces, which was already small for me. For the cost of all these attachments and accessories added up I couldn't have purchased a higher quality rack from another company. I'll have to file these burrs down carefully (there are many) and then wrap the grips in athletic tape

I'm shocked there are not more reviews discussing the fact that both J-hooks you receive lock on the same side. This is a danger and happened almost immediately after we completed setup. The bar wasn't placed on flush, it hit the J hooks which turned since the right side can't lock in place, and fell off. Weights and bar down to the floor! I reached out to CAP out of courtesy because their disclaimer in the box said too. I inquired about the hooks. No one answered calling 3 different days/times. You leave a message/email and they get back to you in 3 days. All they wrote us back was: Hi Please take a look at the manual, this part does not have a left and right. The hook is on the same side. No willingness to be helpful or troubleshoot and an admission of flaws. I am now buying separate, locking J hooks. Still a value for the price, but you get what you pay for in safety and customer service. BEWARE
