I have used McKenzie method products for 20 years. I renew these every 5 to 7 years. They are nice and firm when they are new and that renews there effectiveness if you have old ones. I need all the help I can get.

I bought three different lumbar supports from this company and find each has it's own best use. The thinner for a chair and the thicker for sitting on the couch for any length of time. They do wonders to prevent back strain!

It works for my back. I have used several different back supports for 30 years. This product is actually firm enough to push back on the spinal arch when used in a chair, rather than collapsing (I weigh ~200 lbs @ ~6 ft.). I have been so satisfied for 2 years that I ordered this one to save some carrying around. It is the only "roll" product I expect to buy again.

I am very satisfied with this product, and always have been. This is the only support that I specifically request here at the office because the lumbar support of the McKenzid D is the perfect fit.

I found the roll to be a little bit too deep for my purposes. Using my office chair the thickness of the roll has my whole spine pushed forward from the lumbar area a bit too much such that the rest of my spine does not contact the back of the chair easily. I also find that the strap does not secure the roll in one place, as it always slips down on the chair back. I would recommend getting a thinner roll unless your chair and back really need a very deep roll.

I purchased this product to support my lower back while driving (and to keep my posture!). With a degenerative disc, I have pain sitting in cushy seats, especially car seats. Now that I have this product, I can drive for hours without back pain. Plus, it affixes perfectly to my desk chair so I have the support all day long at work and in the car. It's small and lightweight, so I carry it to friend's cars, on airplanes, trains, buses, etc. It has made traveling comfortable for me.If you're using the strap, make sure to carefully affix the back of the cushion to the velcro on the strap. My only (very minor) complaint is that the velcro ruins the strap itself if the two velcro pieces are not aligned.

It definitely helped my back, but was too bulky for my work chair. Also, every time I got up it needed to be readjusted when I sat back down and that got annoying very quickly. It's currently living in my desk drawer.

This product is good quality and I like that it attaches to the chair, but it's much bigger than I expected. I'm an average sized female (currently pregnant) and I find that in my office chair this pushes me way too far forward and is very uncomfortable. In my husband's car it works a bit better, but still feels pretty big.If you're a medium-small sized woman I'd suggest trying the petite/slimline model instead. I haven't used that one myself, but something smaller is definitely needed for me.

Love this product! I bought The Original McKenzie D-Section Lumbar Roll because I was having severe neck and shoulder pain after sitting in my studio all day. I work in radio, and I'm sitting for all of my work. This roll attaches to a standard office chair very securely, and it gives me great, FIRM cushioning and support, right where I need it. The pain stopped in a couple of days and hasn't come back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Works great on a regular flat back chair. Didn't work very well with my newer style curved office chair. I'll just use at home and look for one better suited to my office chair. Nice product!!!!

I found that this support fits the car seat pretty well, except that it needs to be adjusted each time I get in and out. The lower part of the seat back tapers, and since it is leather rather than cloth, each time you get out the support's elastic causes it to pull all the way down to the seat bottom. I don't believe any other support would fare any better however, unless it had some kind of adhesive to hold it to the seat back, which I think would be undesirable/impractical. I suspect everyone will find the support feels _way_ too large when they first try it. However, the foam seems to relax after the first few uses and it becomes quite comfortable. - overall I'd recommend it.

This works well at work. The elastic is a bit thin and weak and may slide around if your chair has a plastic back. The cushion has the perfect firmness.

Although I do have a very expensive thermopedic computer chair, my back therapist recommended this exact lumbar support for me. It works perfectly and is exactly what he suggested. You can not go wrong and it was delivered promptly!
