I've bought one of these jackets last January, and I would actually rate it as 3.5 stars, if I could. Pros It's a good quality jacket for the price I haven't had problems with the zippers that I've had with other jackets and outerware for bikers The waterproofing is effective, and I often wear it when I walk my dogs in the rain Con No matter how tight I cinch the bottom of the jacket and no matter how high I pull up my waterproof pants when it's raining, the jacket rides up and my lower back gets wet - including when I rode in to work about 30 minutes ago Buying a smaller size wouldn't solve the problem nor would buying a larger-than-normal size.

The jacket has ventilation openings in the back and is comfortable to wear during rides. Nice color to be seen on the road. It's a little baggy and definitely not something I would wear all the time, but good for inclement weather.

Really well made. It does stop the wind and rain. Not to take anything away from the jacket itself but if the hood could be rolled up or removed entirely it would be a perfect 5 stars. I found the hood kinda acts like a wind catch. When riding on a nice but cool day the hood opens up and causes resistance. Now it's a small effect but it's still there enough to mention it here.
