Works great as a general purpose propeller. Has good bottom end bite for pulling tubes and getting on plane quickly. Only downfall is losing a couple mph on top end. Highly recommend.

2023 Tracker Classic XL (17') 50 4stroke Merc. It gets out of the hole better runs a little faster. I don't like how easy it is to ventilate, both in turns, and with little trim. The factory black max was better in that area, but this prop gets out of the hole a little better.

Prop performs very well at low speed for maneuvering and gets the boat up on plane quicker than my other 4 blade and other 3 blade prop.

I had recently purchased a boat out of the Las Vegas area with a 21" x 14.5" three blade prop. The change in elevation to about 4500' killed this thing out of the hole, sometimes taking over a minute to reach plane. I did some research and felt this prop 17" x 14" inch would be a good compromise between a 17' and 19" three blade prop thinking from what I had read would be equivalent to an 18" three blade. Luckily, I was right. Below I will put the stats of both props (21" what I started with and this one, along with rough stats on the boat). The following wasn't tested at length, or recorded. I am just going off of memory which hasn't been more than a month with each on the craft. Speed check with GPS. 23' Sea Ray 230CC. 260hp 350 Alpha One Mercruiser. About 3600 lbs dry weight. 4400' Elevation. 21" x 14.5" three blade. Max speed 42 mph, Max RPM 4300, Time to plane (approx 20 mph); about 20-30 seconds. 17" x 14" four blade. Max speed 43 mph (so far), Max RPM 4800, Time to plane (approx 20 mph); about 8 seconds

I had a Mercury Black Max 10.3x14 on my 60 EFI (17ft Tracker Grizzly) and boy was she slow to get on plane with two people and gear. I heard from some friends that this was THE prop for Mercury 60 on a 16-18 ft Jon boat. They were absolutely correct. The hole shot is much much better now and I'm on plane in about half the time. I only lost about 2 MPH top end at WOT, still runs 33 MPH which is plenty fast on the rivers near me. Low end handling is also much better, feels quite a bit more torquey at the docks when you have to make a tight maneuver. All in all, would buy again if something happens to it.
