We purchased this for a beach vacation. The video and pictures are very clear under water. The battery life was great.

I'm very impressed with this camera!! We took it on a trip to Cancun and I was concerned because it was overcast and very windy. The water was churned up and visibility was not as good. To my surprise, the still images and video came out extremely sharp and clear. It actually looked more clear than I remembered so the camera must have some excellent software to sharpen images and color built in. For example, we dove in a cenote that had a mix of salt and fresh water. In person, the visibility was blurry due to the water mixture but when I looked at the videos, the cameral seemed to correct the issue and picked up details really well. Again, this was in overcast conditions. I took some photos with my Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra for comparison and I think the AKASO actually performed better overall, especially under water. We had plenty of battery life for our excursions as well. The waterproof case did a fantastic job. I was also concerned about the lack of image stabilization on this model but it was not an issue for me at all underwater or walking around with video running. I suspect that if you were trail biking or horseback riding that might be more noticeable. Transferring video and photos from camera to phone wirelessly was simple with the provided software which is pretty self-explanatory and simple to use. I highly recommend for the price and glad to give it 5 stars!
