Wasnt able to try it in the rain, but I can say it was money worth spent already, in the sunny mornings it helped keep the tent dim enough I could sleep longer, in the cold nights it helped keep the heat of my lantern in. And it was easy to put on/take off my tent alone.

The 4-person tent rain fly worked very well with the Coleman 4-person tent. Very easy to use and fold up and put back in its carry bag. It is very durable.

Kept the roof dry but the tent walls still leaked. I had to buy scotchguard for the tent walls. I’m usually very happy with Coleman products and the rain fly worked 100 but the instatent if I could review the tent I’d give it a 3 based on leaks alone.

Don't waste your money on this. The tent leaks so badly with it you have to purchase a better tarp to cover more of the tent anyway. So, just buy a larger and better-quality tarp for the top and save some money.

I purchased this to add extra rain protection for the Coleman 6 person Instant setup tent. This fly only exacerbated the problem. The design of the fly is poorly thought out, it allows the rain water to hit the middle of the mesh window where is leaked in (YES! i did water proof my tent inside and out including the window flaps). I watched as the water sheet flowed off of my tent from mid window down. Tent and fly not worth a plug nickle, don't waste your money.
