Our eight year old has really taken to swimming, and is talking about joining the swim team when he gets to middle school and high school. When we saw this listing he totally wanted to try these swim trunks out. He says they're comfortable to wear. Snug without being tight. They don't retain water so they don't feel heavy when wet. They move with him and don't bind up. As for me, I think he looks like a professional swimmer in these! Very cute.

I got this for my son. He likes it so much. It is easy to put on. It’s tight and it’s comfortable. It comes with a drawstring, which is very easy to adjust. Also, it’s in good quality, and it’s not fade out by pools water. Like it.

This is a really good suit for hanging out at the pool but it is especially good for swim practice. They fit closer to the body than traditional trunks but have more drag and better coverage than briefs.

It's hard to find sturdy clothes for teenagers. If I get a light color it is stained before lunchtime. These are great. They are darker and fit him very well. He can run out and check on the pigs or chickens and I don't have to worry too much about him getting something from outside on them to show up. They are great at the beach!

Great fit. Good coverage and thick material for no-show through. True black that stays black and doesn't pill up with multiple washes. Do take care around concrete as it can snag the material (common on all suits).

With my kid's daily swim training, these jammers go through a lot of wear and tear, and they've been holding their own quite well. These are only lined in the front (which makes them lighter), and because of the addition of elastane to the fabric, they are a bit more stretchy than the typical Arena polyester jammers. However, the fabric looks to be just as durable as Arena's MaxLife, and while they may not match the more expensive "team line", after continued use these jammers still look as good as new and hold their shape perfectly. Very happy with this purchase, and happy to recommend to frequent swimmers.

My sons swim competitively year-round, and we are very familiar with the Arena brand. These jammers are definitely the quality you would expect, and the solid color options are great for back up suits for meets in case the team suit has issues. They also work well for practice pairs. My son who got this pair said they feel comfortable to wear and the doesn't feel like there is a lot of drag associate with the material. These standard non-tech jammers are great also for meets when you cannot wear tech suits.
