I was surprised how much I love this headgear, I bought as a requirement for masters competition expecting it to be bulky , heavy and impaired vision but boy was I wrong. It actually is thinner and lighter than my other headgears yet gives complete protection and perfect eye site. The headgear does not shift at all during sparring and the Velcro strap is literally the best way to secure. My other straps would lose the pin and loosen during sparring but this stays tight and secure. I bought early before my competition expecting I would need some break in time and some time getting used to it but in the words of Jim Carey it fits like a glove and I use as my sole training head gear now
