The Economy Wrist Support allows individuals to be able to comfortably and more easily feed themself without asking for assistance from others. Position a drop-wrist into the desired degree of extension with this durable dorsal wrist support. The hand cuff is constructed with a leather covered metal splint that runs along the top of the wrist to provide a stable horizontal support.
The wrist support features three easy-to-use Velcro brand closures to provide a comfortable, custom fit. In addition, the cuff is available in two sizes: regular for MCP width measuring 3” and large for MCP width measuring 3 ½”. In addition, the option to purchase a pack of 3 regular or 3 large cuffs is available.
People with a wrist disability due to cerebral palsy, encephalopathy, autism or meningitis may have a difficult time regaining the ability to feed themself without assistance. The Economy Wrist Support provides firm, stable wrist support to aid weakened or non-functional wrists. Designed into the hand cuff is an angled pocket to fit a spoon, fork, or knife, allowing the user to be able to use utensils more independently.
