Ended up working but for me was very tricky to install. The old 6 screws with 1/2 inch long hex were almost too short to reach the furnace threads because this part with the new gasket pushed it high enough above the surface where I had to put a lot of weight on the inductor fan to get the screws into the old threads. It took an hour of huffing and puffing to get 2 screws in with the old 6 1/2 inch screws, and another 2 hours to home Depot and back to find a 8 3/4 inch sheet metal screw that would fit the last and 3rd hole. Also, for some reason, screwing all 3 screws tightly caused the fan blades to start hitting the fan housing, so I had to loosen all 3 and just make them hand-tight. But other than that, the fan works! Furnace turned on and I don't hear anymore rattling noise. Hopefully this unit lasts for at least another 5 years. My tip for installation would be to look up "How to Replace An Inducer Fan Motor Assembly on An 80 Furnace" by the DIY HVAC guy and also to buy teks self drilling screws metal-to-metal 8 3/4" length screws in case the old screws are too short for the new install. Also use a magnetic screw head. Had I had those before I began, it would have been a much easier job.

I Reuther the first one because a motor bracket ear was broken. Once I received the second one, the fan wheel will not turn smoothly, it would get caught on the bolts holding the motor to the housing. So I took the motor out, because I could not align the wheel without hitting the screw. I installed the motor on my original housing and it spun freely, however once I connected the motor it was defective and would not turn with power applied. I had to get OEM replacement, and I urge you to do the same. Definitely would not want anyone else to go through this process. My heater is not working and I expected to repair it today. Look elsewhere for your product.
