Either you like dampeners or you don't. Personally I love the dampening effect and the gamma long dampeners definitely do the trick. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a dampener to soften the vibration and tingy sound.

Who knows if dampeners really matter? However since I think they do I want the best. Prior to the Gamma I used identical ones from Wilson. After breaking one a week for 7 weeks I switched to the Gamma. Neither have broken after 6 weeks but once or twice in a set the plastic clasp will disconnect.

The gamma shockbuster vibration dampener is just the exact this I ordered. I love this product.It has really helped in dampening the vibration of my racket thanks to this dampener I now don't get elbow aches. This product has also improved my power shots too!!

Great dampener. Since it stretches across most of the mains, it really does dampen the vibrations and the noise. No tennis elbow in many, many years. I exclusively buy these now.

Been using these things for well over ten years now and I find they work better than anything else (namely those little W's that cover all of two strings in the middle of your racket...). You can tell a huge difference without one on your racket and personally, I can't play without one. The only downside is that sometimes the end clips on these will randomly pop off when playing (happens with all shock protectors and as these are long and woven they won't go flying across the court like the afore mentioned W's) especially with slick poly strings. But all in all, they're cheap, they do the job, and they do it better than most.

I play 3-5 times a week and have tennis elbow. This is the best dampener that I found. The only problem that I had is when you hit the ball off the lower end of the racquet (where the dampener is) you might break it and then the fluid will leak out and can stain your clothes. I had this problem when I first started playing, as I improved, I learned not to hit that part of the racquet anymore.

I bought one of these about 5 years ago for my racquet and loved it. Bought this one for my wife's racquet. They work great and are super easy to put on. Mine is still going strong and I play fairly often.

This is one of the best,if not the best, tennis racquet sound damper I ever known. Do not stretch it too much, it wont be effective. The sad thing is it's getting too expensive now. It used to be just over a couple of bucks years ago. And also it doesn't last long - the hook to the strings could easily get busted.
