Top notch! I was ready to exchange this device after a month because it could no longer hold pressure. I thought the release valve had broken. Turns out the pressure gauge had loosened from the tube and it needed a very small clockwise twist to seat it. I'm happy again!

My life and brother as well as both of their physical therapist agree this is a solid piece of equipment. Holds head securely and stretches the neck at the appropriate angle.

I have herniated discs in my neck and occasionally I have pain due to exercise or heavy lifting. After physician recommended physical therapy used one of these to alleviate the pain, I bought one for my personal use. It works great for me; a few days of traction and I feel fine. Patience is necessary though; you have to allow yourself to relax your neck and shoulder muscles to allow the machine to work properly. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS.

If a lot of these were sold, I'd expect the price to be around $30-50. But the market is probably small, hence the high price. That said, it works well and is reasonably comfortable.

I purchased this because I have neck issues and wanted a cervical traction device at home instead of making chiropractor and physical therapy appointments all the time. It has more than made up for the cost already. It is the same device that is in many physical therapist offices. I looked at a lot of different devices that may work well. However, I have a large neck and this device is the only one that had really good ratings and can handle a larger neck size.

I had traction in physical therapy for my cervical pinched nerves and that was the only thing that helped, steroid injections did not. This is just like therapy. Make sure you do not use on your bed as you need a hard flat surface.

I bought it for someone that really needed this exact type of therapy device. If you are sure from your doctor or chiropractor that this kind of thing will be helpful, then this item will do it nicely. I heard from the friend that it was helping and a good item.

This type of product should not be used without the guidance of a qualifed health professional. Unsupervised use could exacerbate the symptoms of a cervical spine injury.

As another review mentioned, cervical decompression with a chiropractor gets expensive. Mine suggested I look into this kind of unit for tune-ups between visits. The price was reasonable and the warranty eased concerns. A pamphlet suggests asking a professional for adjustment guidance but what would have helped, also, is timing guide. Otherwise, this is a well-designed well-made device.

Since neck traction costs a considerable amount at the chiropractor, he advised I purchase a product like this one. I chose this model in part because it came with a guarantee. It's well-made, sturdy, easy to assemble and use, and effective. It works with an air pump and holds the air nicely. My chiropractor was impressed, and I am too!

This is just like the one I used from physical therapy. Not sure the negative reviews concerning the head-strap. It has been working just fine for me. I especially the incline feature allowing different positioning. Sometimes I like it to be flatter towards the floor and sometimes it feels better raised. Great little machine with a nice storage bag.

So after 8 uses, my pump stopped working. I was annoyed as I bought this in the US before traveling over seas where I now live. As there is no way I can sent this back I had nothing to lose. Its so new I didn't think it could be an 0-ring but I decided to check. Turns out the spring in this is very easy to lose its place. It lacks proper support, all the same, resetting the inner spring helped to hold the o-ring to tension and keep the air pressure. Hope it this helps someone else.
