Waiting for ACL surgery and needed a brace to help me hobble along until then. I borrowed one from a friend and it was a bit clunky. After reading some reviews I picked this one. Some reviewers said it was difficult to put it on. After figuring out which way is up(the side with longer wrap around velcro) I didn't have any trouble getting on or off. I was on edge of small/medium and took advice to go smaller, which was a good call. Gives good stability for walking or going up stairs. Feels pretty solid and fits well. Over clothes is better as the straps rub a little when put directly on knee. can probably wear another knee sleeve or my friend suggested using a bandana to cover the areas where it's rubbing. That is the only con I can find. Only had a few days so can't speak to the durability but so far so good. At this price point it was a bargain.

My Wife's has problems with pain in her knees. The doctor suggested this brace to help stabilize her knee and prevent her from "twisting" her knee and causing very painful movement. It's been several weeks now and it has really helped to prevent her twisting her knee. It worked so well we bought a second one for her other knee that was just beginning to hurt like the other knee. If you have a problem with your knees caused by making a twisting movement I would recommend asking your Doctor if he thought a brace like this would help.

This is the only knee support that has really worked. I have tried knee compression sleeves, knee bands, patella supports, nothing worked. This hinged brace for me has been a life saver. After recovering from knee surgery 2 years ago I have pain and weakness after playing tennis, pickleball or even days of excessive stair climbing. I now wear this brace when playing and a few hours a day when I'm up and down the stairs a lot. The velcro is very strong and stays put, the support around the opening is very firm and the hinges do not restrict movement in any way, but supports lateral moves when playing sports. Take time to measure because the fit is important for the back velcro to overlap. I only wish I found it sooner when going through rehab, would have been a big help then.

I had my first 2 pair for 2 years and they are still in great shape. I bought 2 in a smaller size because o lost weight! They get the job done. Great stability for someone with bilateral knee replacements.

I had IT Band syndrome "Runner's knee " causing pain from glute tendon to left lateral knee. This hinged knee support combined with my IT Band exercises, resolved my issue. The knee brace was supportive, yet flexible allowing me to work and perform my daily activities. Comfortable, adjustable, fit under my jeans and stayed in place.

Finally! A knee brace that supports intense activity. With old meniscus injuries on both knees, I had trouble finding the stability and security from a brace and usually ended up straining my knees again. After purchased several braces the past 2 years, I had almost lost hope. But y’all! This is the one. I am now able to do high intensity workouts again- including side to side motion, squats and plyometrics. The braces fit snug on the inner and outer knee, adjustable straps on the front and back give additional support, open back allows for further movement, does not slide down or shift, hinges are secured well. I just love them.

I bought two of these Bodyprox hinged knee braces 2.5 years ago. I loved them right from the start. My knees are a little janky and need that support - especially on the sides while I'm working out. My current pair is still useable but after wearing them for intense legs days, twice weekly for 30 months, the straps have gotten a little stretched out and the hook amp; loop is less grippy in some places. This purchase is more about treating myself than actually needing to replace them. I could probably get another year out of them but will donate them instead. These are so good for my knees in all aspects. The side to side stability is great, the padded patella ring is essential for being on all fours (no more kneeling on "gravel"), the ability to adjust the fit in multiple areas, they don’t bunch behind my knees all of that makes these a really good choice. I do wear them on top of my leggings so I have no rubbing issues.

This brace is economical but strong! Recommended by my physician (ortho), to buy a very expensive model, found this one! It's better than the one his office instructed me to purchase!! It gives the support as directed by my doctor!!
