It is somewhat stiff to open, I stood on the left side bottom bar and pulled up on the right side of the seat to refold it. It worked! Then I found the handles on the side of the seat to make it even easier to move! YAY It weighs 8-10 lbs, which is about all I can handle, but it's a lot lighter than the chairs with trays (I don't need no stinking tray). Hubby was impressed it was Coleman. My other lightweight chair has lasted 10 years, I started looking for a second easy to carry chair and this is it. I hope they don't quit making them, this was difficult to find. So happy I found it. I would give it 10 stars. They are very handy.

Bought as a gift for my Mom who likes a solid chair to sit on that sits a little higher than normal camp chairs becauseshe has knee issues. This fit the bill to a tee! She keeps it in the car all summer long so she knows she has a comfortable place to sit wherever she goes. Opens easily, lightweight, sits comfortably, and well made.

Bought this for my room. Always used the plastic foldable chairs but the tabs to hold them in place would always break and just leaning back would loosen the back rest. So far this is doing well. I weigh around 180 lbs around 6 ft tall. Seen some people say it's weak or falls apart. I probably use it in different circumstances of course, being only indoors. Only issue I had was figuring out how to close it haha. You stand on the side of the chair, place your feet on its foot, grab the sides of the part you sit on, then pull up. Can use your legs against the arm to help you. So if you don't have room for a computer chair this might work well for you.
