It's hard to find a indicator with the balls and strike orientation reading left to right, oftentimes its backwards and I don't need to make umpiring any harder for myself. The clicks are very satisfying and they dont spin freely so no errors on my end.

Dials roll smooth but deliberately. Easy/comfortable to work one-handedly. Plus it fits in my hand great. I get so much respect as an ump now cuz my strike zone calling is silky.

I only use balls first indicators. Super easy to read, fits in my hand well and a great click feel. I use this one in the field cause it is a bit bigger so I know I won't drop it while running around. Nice bright wheel color is a plus. Overall I'm very happy with this item. Seems durable and well built too.

On every indicator I have ever used the strikes are on the top and the balls are in the middle. Not on this indicator. They are opposite. In addition, after only 2 hours of use, the white "paint" used on the word ball and strike wore off. After only 2 hours??!

Don't drop it! If you do it will break. Broke two while taking gear off. Also came with balls and strikes in the wrong order.

Couple great things about this indicator vs other ones: 1) Easy to change numbers. Some indicators have dials that are stiff to turn, this one is easy, but not to the point that it will turn without trying. 2) It has balls, then strikes. Easy to look at and read count. 3) It only goes up to 3 for balls and 2 for strikes and then resets. You do not have to click again to reset to 0 after ball 4 or strike 3.
