LOVE THIS PADDLE!!!

I love this paddle. I live in an area where there aren’t trial paddle programs in place. I borrowed a few paddles from other players over the course of a few weeks and ended up ordering a few paddles. THIS was my final pick. I suspect that ex-tennis players like this paddle. It is elongated and the sweet spot is not in the center of the paddle but toward the end of the paddle where the target symbol is printed. I ordered the light version and this seems perfect for me. It’s quite a poppy, powerful paddle. I don’t feel a heavier paddle is necessary for me to have power. I found that with other paddles that tend to be more control oriented, that I couldn’t speed up noticeably. With this paddle I can. Since it’s poppy, it took time for me to adjust to have lighter touch while resetting, dropping, and dinking. I LOVE my drives and I can take a shot in the air from mid-court easily (they always seemed to hit the tape or net before). My singles game improved DRAMATICALLY with this paddle. That little bit of extra reach is very helpful and shots hit while reaching ended up quite controlled as the sweet spot is out so far on the paddle. The surface has plenty of grit for top spin, slice or any of your trick shots. The most difficult part for me in adjusting to this paddle was in volleying and fast hands at the net. Since the paddle’s sweet spot is further out, I found I needed to move my paddle more quickly and adjust to that location. I think many will love this paddle, but I think it particularly clicks for those with a tennis background.

This paddle is fantastic for tennis elbow issues! I’m recovered from surgery on both elbows and wanted a paddle that mitigates tennis elbow. The reduced vibration is second to none from my experience so far. I’ve only used the paddle a few times since receiving it but am pleased. It has good control and enough power. I am a high intermediate player just to give context to others reading this review.

Great weight and feel and can deliver plenty of spin. Also not as much vibration as some paddles.

I have been dealing with tennis elbow for several months now. I started doing some research into the best paddles to use for people suffering from tennis elbow. Engage paddles were pretty much included on every list I came across... in the mid-weight. Originally I was using a Selkirk Vanguard Control - Invikta in light-weight. Loved the Selkirk paddle and the elongated shape... so I was happy to find the same shape with this Engage paddle. The grip of this paddle is much better than the Selkirk... with sweaty hands it doesn't get slippery. And I never thought that a mid-weight paddle would overall just feel better... I find that I don't grip the paddle as tight. I also find that this paddle give me so much more power... and I love the power! I highly recommend this paddle to anyone... especially those suffering from tennis elbow!

I noticed a significant difference in this paddle with my drives and overhead shots. I was previously using a double black diamond six zero paddle, but I’m very happy to make the switch. Coming from a former tennis players opinion, this paddle better suits my playing style versus other popular brands I have tested.
