The frame is good, and solid. However, the straps that come attached to the frame are not. While the design is in keeping with the original one built for the US Army, the fabric or composition of the straps does not keep them securely in place once put under load. The straps slip through the buckles if left as designed. In order to counter this, one has to reroute the strap through the buckle to create a lock of sorts. While not out of the ordinary, any Infantryman will attest there is nothing worse than a shoulder or waist strap coming undone.

Found this from Facebook groups looking to modify/upgrade their HasLab proton pack. Super easy installation. Be careful with straps, though. Be sure to look up how to adjust them properly so that you don't drop your pack.
