These are great in protecting your irons from "bag chatters" and dings while going on wild rides chasing white little balls around bumpy fairways and roughs on golf courses. They are especially useful if you have softer forged irons. Unlike other options available on the market, because of the lanyards attaching two covers, they are difficult to lose/misplace, but somewhat cumbersome to use. The most significant downside is that you have to be careful when removing and placing back the covers. The red plastic clips that hold the covers on the irons become brittle over time and break easily (and yes, the covers are useless when the clips break and you cannot get replacement clips and need to purchase a whole new set). Also, the painted numbers (in addition to the obviously outdated covers for 3 amp; 4 irons and lack of covers for gap/approach/lob wedges) do fade/wear off after a couple of years.

Covers are easy to use and offer good protection of club heads. The white numbering may scratch fairly easily but I think will last well enough and worst case I can rewrite with a permanent marker.

Tried it on and found the 8, 9, P, and S irons, is a little more difficult to slip on/off easy. The 3, 4, 5, and 6 irons works perfectly; and the 7 iron starts to get difficult. What I mean by difficult is that to cover sticks to the face of the irons. My thinking is that with the higher loft, there is more friction of a club face to deal with. Of course, this is my opinion.

I have tried several different iron head cover and left plenty on golf courses when they have fallen off and I didn't know it so it is great to have some that stay on and protect the gold clubs
