When a running back breaks to the outside and defenders have closed off the goal line, his only option is to dive for one of the pylons for the touchdown. As the player reaches for the goal line, he'll be able to safely knock over the markers thanks to the foam filler which helps to prevent injuries during a collision.

Update from original.. still 5 stars. These made it through a season. 24 practices/scrimmages or so. No tears. Would definitely buy again but doubt I'm going to need to.Original Review:6 practices in (including a couple instances of the kids using them as weapons for goofing around during pick up... Smh) and no signs of stressed seams.Just the handling and occasional impact on field I'd say 6 practices isn't enough to gauge longevity. But having witnessed two instances of teammates turning them into play weapons and pillow fighting with I'm quite confident saying these are built to last. Very high visibility. Good weight at base. They stay upright. But soft enough to not be a field hazard.
