Polycarbonate is shatterproof (within reason) and more expensive than regular acrylic. Which is probably why this indoor backboard is on the higher-end of the price range if you're comparison shopping. The polycarbonate is super thin though. We're talking 1/10 of an inch in thickness (2.5mm). I would've liked for the polycarbonate to be at least 1/8 or 1/4 inch for the current (Oct 2024) 48 dollar price. For it's usage as an indoor basketball hoop, it's plenty strong for the average kid to be making bank shots with mini basketballs. Easy to put together and hang.

This hoop great. Its large size makes it more of a feature and feels very high quality over all. It comes with all necessary tools and hardware to assemble it. It also comes with door brackets as well as wall mount brackets. It took me fewer than 10 minutes to put together. The hardest part was the net honestly and that comes with helpful knots that make it easier to loop them through the metal clips for them. Overall, fantastic set and would highly recommend.

It's a toy, it's a basketball net, it's a little balls, what's not to like? Easy to put together, easy to hang on your door or somewhere else if you'd like. Fun to play with, the kids love it. It's also priced Right in my opinion. Yep, we like it.
