I’ve been using this exact tent for years without it ever letting me down! No matter what kind of weather or temperature I’ve used this in I’ve always been dry. They do list this tent as a 2 person, but realistically with 2 people plus gear it does get little tight on space. Either you can pack light or use a second smaller tent to store your extra gear instead of trying to fit it all inside this one. The durability of this product is very good for the price point. My Scouting troop bought 10 of those tents back in 2014, with all of them still in one piece to this day. I would definitely recommend this tent to anyone who wants a high performance tent that won’t leak and is easy to hull around with its lighter weight.

I grew up camping in the 4-man version 30-some years ago, and when my parents downsized recently I inherited the same tent! I bought the 2-man version so when we car camp I can have the vintage palace and the kids have their own space in the new one. It says a lot about the design that decades later it remains fundamentally unchanged! The original larger tent and the new smaller one both made it through torrential rain and hail just a couple of weekends ago with not a drip inside. I haven't gotten them for the 2-man yet, but I highly recommend the vestibule add-on, especially if there's any chance of camping in the rain. Having the covered space to don and doff shoes on the front or for extra dry storage space on the back is worth every penny. Have taken the 2-man on 2 backpacking trips now, first with a buddy and 2nd trip solo. I cut the bungees on the poles so that I could distribute individual pieces in my pack however I wanted. Makes for great weight distribution to have the pole segments straddling my water bladder closer to my back with the bulk of the tent body and fly farther out in the middle of the pack. The huge windows front and back make for an epic view first thing in the morning! There's plenty of room for 2 adults to sleep (but bulky gear like a pack would be better off in a vestibule or other sheltered spot). As with all tents, cut the capacity in half if you also want a huge amount of STUFF in there with you. Definitely recommend the Timberline tents, hands down best value for timeless quality.

Its a bit heavy but is easy to set up and has double walls so it will hold out the weather better. It has a large rear window and a large door for maximum air flow as necessary. I spent 4 days of wind and rain in it with no problem. I did seam seal it well. I consider this a three season tent only.

The tent was purchased to take backpacking in the grand Tetons. Easy to setup and can accommodate 2 adults if being snug isn't bothersome. Recommend setting up at least once before actual use to become familiar.

Timberline tent has been around since the 60s the price of 79.00 bucks it's my first backpacking tent ...Eureka started with only a two man and grew to 4 along with 6 man tent down the road they are build to last I still own my tent .. Lol they came in green or Orange then . 5 million boy scouts can't go wrong for a while on hiking trips that all I saw in the local mountains even in the Sierra in t he summer ... It is not a 4 season tent and really not a three season either ... But it is a very good tent easy to set up has room for two. Good Windows. And screen good fly set up the floor needs Sean sealer and ground cloth. It has a nylon floor. Not one of those cheap plastic floor you see all over good again the wind and head room. Weight is not the greatest !!! the tent came out around the same time as the jansport first dome tent came out ... If you are looking for a good tent this is the one like any good thing. .. You need to take care of it and it will last like mine has. For almost 50 years note. Replace a few poles . And stitch up a few places along the way and used some ripstop tape.
