I play catcher in a men's league and I've always used the face mask and hat style. But started feeling like my visibility was off. I got this hockey style mask and it's amazing how much more I can see now while I'm behind the plate. Took a couple foul tips right off the front no problem. This is a rlly good catchers mask and I recommend it

I picked this helmet up for my 12U baseball team, I've got a few kids that have moved into adult sizes and this fit perfectly. Its adjustable for a great fit for any kid on my team, and even for adults if needed. Facial padding is comfortable. Good visibility! Easy to flip the mask off quickly for fly balls. Great helmet, and well built! Very lightweight design that the smaller kids dont complain about wearing. The helmet that came with our chest/leg pads made by another name brand was not quite as comfortable, this mask is better than the kit version in terms of adjustability.

I got this catcher's mask to help practice catching my daughter's pitching. As she has grown, so has her strength and pitching speed. I can't safely catch for her anymore without having a mask. I like the hockey style of this one, because it allows for maximum visibility and airflow. The sizing of the mask could definitely be an issue for a lot of adults out there. It is extremely snug on my head and just barely fits, and that's considering that I have a smaller head. I think a lot of men might have issues with this not fitting them. The mask feels comfortable on my face and I feel like the padding will provide adequate protection for your head. Luckily I haven't had the chance to take a ball to the head to confirm this, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time. I am very pleased with this catcher's mask and think others will like it if the sizing isn't an issue for them.

Well built hockey style mask that is NOCSAE certified. Wide opening is good for catchers or umpires. Lightweight helmet that is great for catchers and umpires. Well priced built well. Good replacement helmet .

This Champion Sports Hockey Style Catcher's Helmet Mask is comfortable and offers perfect protection. I wore this last week during my modified softball league. It was comfortable throughout the game and provided great protection when someone 'over-swung' and hit me in the head. I'm okay and the mask took the blow without a problem.

From a quality perspective, this mask is great. It's solid, has well placed and cushy padding. In fairness, I did order a youth size for my Little League Minors team (8-10 year olds). The mask is better suited for my smaller 8 year olds, and probably would be even better for younger players. But it works. I found that I was able to adjust the straps to safely extend the size slightly. I would definitely say that this mask is a great value overall for the price, just make sure you consider feedback on sizing.

Love the matte black color way. Really well-made helmet with lots of cushioning. It is way too small for an 8 year old and there is no way to adjust the size. I recommend ordering the adult instead of youth - the size chart is not accurate at all.

When I opened the package for this catchers mask I was quite surprised at how well made it is. It definitely seems like it offers pretty good protection for errant balls that may go flying your way, and the padding seems pretty comfortable on the inside providing even an extra dose of protection. All in this is perfect for those youth catchers in your life!
