Replace your old, dry rotted carpeted bunks and save your gel coat. Reduce force required to load or unload your boat by over 400%. Less strain on arms, ropes and pulleys. Carpet allows fine particles of sand to embed into the carpet that slowly grinds away at your gel coat. Wash out channels flush sand, salt and other debris away from the hull. Guaranteed not to crack, chip or wear out and is impervious to sun and salt. With Bunk Wraps there is no need to remove your old worn out carpet. Just mount the Bunk Wraps right over the top! Make sure you put a layer of wax on your hull during installation.

Replaced carpet on my pontoon bunks. Made it much easier load the boat on trailer and with cranking it up. As mentioned, unroll it and let the sun make it easier to apply. If you're thinking about replacing the carpet, do it!

Fairly easy to install once it gets flattened out. Could have used a few more screws in the package but it’s not a deal breaker. It’s a bit pricey but I hope it makes up for replacing rotten bunks and carpet that leaves the wood wet. Time will tell.

Make sure you on roll and relax the bunk wrap on nice warm day and use the Velcro fasteners to help form bunk wrap to bunks.You should also just plan on using new lag bolts so you don’t have to make a trip to the hardware store mid project..I also used some stainless steel staples with my pneumatic stapler along with fasteners provided with bunk wrap.Project came out good.I do like the easy slide on trailer when loading pontoon.I had carpeted bunks before and there was a lot of drag with bunk wrap it is a little more forgiving if you’re not lined up perfect it allows toons to align themselves and drop in place with carpet you had to man handle it into the bunks if you got off a little.

Used it to cover my bunk cutouts that are used by our boat launch slings hoping that it makes it easier for the slings to slide over compared to marine carpeting.
