I purchased this ball to get a head start on practicing for volleyball. From my experience I can say that this is a great ball! It isn’t too soft or too hard and it really feels great, it’s everything they said it would be! I would recommend this to anyone who wants a ball and don’t want to break your hands from it being so hard.

Decent volleyball for the money. Held up well playing in sand over Memorial Day weekend. Doesn't wobble like some cheaper products, and allows for a good knuckleball effect if hit correctly, as an advanced player would expect. Only took a star off because 34;soft34; is in the product description. This ball still stings a bit for those who only play occasionally. This is not a plush indoor use only ball.. so don't get too unrealistic with your expectations.

Love this ball, love that it comes pumped up and ready to play since I don't own a pump. The outside of the ball is the soft cushiony material most players will be familiar with however the ball itself isn't soft and the outside foam layer doesn't seem to be that thick. Standard volleyball hardness wouldn't recommend for smaller children as it does hurt your arms before you get into the groove of playing and build up a tolerance. Perfect for playing in a park or with friends.
