When I finally did open this to replace the straps the material was peeling. These are thick straps not like the original MK straps at all.

The color I needed to match seemed to be halfway between Came and Dark brown. I purchased the strap in camel, and found the color was *much* lighter than what was pictured here; it was a traditional Tan. I then ordered the Dark brown, and found it was only slightly lighter than the photos. I needed a chocolate color, and the second one was perfect.I ordered straps with buckles in antique brass, so they'd blend into the strap. However, the rivets holding the buckles on (2 per side) are polished brass. :-( You can see them inside the strap.
