AXE STRATO 2 BBCOR BASEBALL BAT -3 | Standard Handle
With the all-new 1-piece, Strato 2, we have created a new Power Hitters Sweet Spot that extends maximum performance to the end of the bat. You get the longest extended sweet spot, highest maximum BBCOR performance profile, and the lightest, fastest swing weight. A true power hitter's barrel that you can swing with maximum bat speed. NEW WALL-THICKNESS PROFILE
With Strato 2 we have repositioned and extended the wall thickness profile. You get the highest maximum BBCOR performance profile, and extended longest sweet spot, along with the fastest and lightest swing weight. This is a hitter's dream come true.
NEW POWER HITTERS SWEET SPOT
This new wall-thickness profile has allowed us to create a NEW Power Hitters Sweet Spot on the Strato 2. The power hitter's sweet spot extends and optimizes higher performance in the power hitting locations on the barrel towards the end of the bat.
NEW LIGHTER / FASTER MOI
In general, the lower the MOI, the faster / lighter the swing weight of the bat. We have lowered the swing weight of the Strato 2 by 200 points, and it is now our lightest alloy BBCOR bat ever.
NEW LOWEST COMPRESSION
In general, lower barrel compression can coincide with more trampoline effect, and increased barrel performance. We have lowered compression in the barrel by up to 16% in precise locations, and an average of 11% across the length of the sweet spot.
NEW HIGHEST PERFORMANCE
In general, the higher BBCOR performance certification, the higher the bat performance. Strato 2 sees an almost 6-point (5.75) BBCOR increase in performance in the sweet spot location towards the end of the bat, and an almost 4-point (3.70) increase across the entire sweet spot. These increases bring maximum BBCOR performance to the largest location of any BBCOR bat we have put into a hitter's hands.
