Hard to find "athletic" type swimwear for big girls! I usually wear a 3x and I swim, a lot. Well, for me it's a lot. I average 6 to 10 miles/week. Anyway, I'd highly recommend this suit for anyone wanting something more functional. Its super light weight. I like this kind of back for swimming. So far, it's been great. In fact, Im thinking I will buy another.

I picked the purple suit. It is gorgeous, and very flattering. It dries fast, and doesnt retain any smell. I know that sounds silly, but I feel like lots bathing suits start to smell the same no matter what you do. The stitching looks good, I am lucky that I haven't experienced a snag or broken thread yet.

This suit felt really sheer when I put it on, but was sleek and compressed when I swam in it. I wouldn't wear it to the beach but it is perfect for lap swimming. So far the fabric has held up well and the suit continues to keep its shape. I would definitely buy this again as a training suit.

Arena is a brand that my wife wore in high school for swim team. She selected this swimsuit to try. The fabric is high quality, the cut is attractive and modest. My wife found that the length of the suit was not long enough to keep her backside covered by the fabric. (She is tall but this was extreme .) This swimsuit also is sized approximately one size smaller than street clothing. This would be an excellent swimsuit for someone who is shorter than 5'9" or possibly has a short torso.

I am 5'11" and overweight. I normally like arena suits, so was eager to try this one. Sizing: width wise it is spot on. The height is where the issue is . . . if you are short or average height, this should work. Tall and long torso women should keep looking. Fabric: color is beautiful and rich. It is VERY thin and there is no real support to it . . . any and all jiggle will show. Quality: seams are all double-stitched. Liners are all stitched in place with no pesky cups to shift around. Couldn't find any manufacturing flaws. BUT Buyer beware. If you look at the images of the back, it has been photoshopped (enlarge the photo and look at the blurry spot) it is hiding what makes me crazy about this suit . . . my skin at that point pops out, while the images make it look like it will lie flat.

I love this one piece! I'm not a swimmer like swimming laps but I can't wait to wear this at the lake and the pool. It fits perfect and I still feel hot with so much covered. If you're looking for a one piece swimsuit to give you a slimming look and look tight this is it! I just love it!!!

I like the coverage, that is a huge plus. I wish the straps were a little thinner, but that is a personal preference. The color is great, the material seems good, the only downside for me is the stitching in the chest area, it is kind of weird, especially for flatter-chested folks like me. Otherwise, a nice suit that looks like it will hold up well!

I was able to get the bottom half up over my plus-size frame, but the top was just way too small. I couldn't even pull up the top part. The fabric is a bit thin, which is probably good for gliding through water athletically, but at my size, I need more support from the fabric, especially at the top. There is a thin lining there for a little more coverage, but I'd be more comfortable at three times the thickness. It's a pretty suit, and it will fit my much smaller sister, but it's impossible for me.

Hard to find "athletic" type swimwear for big girls! I usually wear a 3x and I swim, a lot. Well, for me it's a lot. I average 6 to 10 miles/week. Anyway, I'd highly recommend this suit for anyone wanting something more functional. Its super light weight. I like this kind of back for swimming. So far, it's been great.
