Honestly, its a shame because this jacket has so much potential, but the execution is atrociously bad. The only reason it does not get a 1 star is that the jacket does look good and it is warm. But its all style because it is not only not functional but dangerous as is. The floppy little holster that comes with it is a joke. Every time I tried to carry with it (with several different models) the pistol fell out almost right away, which is not just inconvenient or annoying but dangerous! If you have a loaded pistol in the holster and it slides out just right it could discharge and kill you! Also, because the inside of the jacket is lined with the hard side of Velcro and most Velcro holsters are also hard, its almost impossible to find a holster that will work. I did finally find one at 5.11 Tactical that made the jacket sort of work, but it absolutely will not work without buying another holster to go inside it. The hard Velcro sheet also covers the entire front of the jacket, making it far less comfortable. Not to mention the weight of your sidearm will inevitably drag one side down, so it looks awkward. They would have been far better off just putting a roughly pistol-shaped pocket inside and calling it a day. Its clear whoever designed this has never concealed carried before in their lives.

The design is very Amateur they hardened the outside with a crinkle coating that is very annoying and the inside is totally open. The blanket liner is very loose and unable to support a weapon. To top it off they raised the price from $68 to $99. Wrangler needs to hire someone knowledgeable in the concealed carry field and stick to the price listed on try before you buy. This is not going to keep me interested in trying this again!

I bought four of these as Christmas gifts for my husband, our son, son-in-law and grandson. Two X-large and two long-large. They said they are just right and very comfortable and the large pockets allow them to carry things. They also look good on them. I would highly recommend this jacket for any man who likes to look smart and comfortable and needs a place to store extra things.

I was looking for a new chore jacket. This one fits the bill. XL fits me perfectly. I'm 6'2, 250lbs, and have broad chest/shoulders. Other comments on the LARGE plastic velcro sheets are accurate, and why I gave it only 4 stars. Maybe should have been 3.5. I did go through with a pocket knife and spent around thirty minutes cutting the velcro out of the side I will not be using. Also, the holster is a joke. Regardless, I like the jacket. It's a keeper. The denim and lining are both comfortable and surprisingly soft.

How to Measure



size chart


TIPS: If you don't have a measuring tape, use a piece of string and hold it alongside a ruler. For the best fit, we recommend you measure without clothing on.

1 Neck


Find a shirt with a collar that fits well. Unbutton the shirt and lay it flat button side up. Measure from the center of the collar button to the far end of the buttonhole.

To measure neck instead of a shirt, place tape measure around neck with two fingers inside tape measure for comfortable fit.

2 Sleeve


With arm relaxed at side and slightly bent, measure from the center of the back of your neck down the outside of the arm to the wrist.

3 Chest


Measure around your upper body just under arms, across shoulder blades while holding tape measure firm and level.

4 Waist


Measure around your waist at the narrowest point.
