I see these reviews about the ball having bad grip. That is because the ball must be prepped. It would be the same as buying a baseball glove and writing a review that it is too stiff. Google it. The San Diego Chargers have a great video on how to do it. Shaving creme, leather conditioner and then mud it. Also bought a Wilson wax bar and I tack it every few uses. My thirteen- year old is catching it with one hand. You just have to put in a little work and it will be perfect.

This great product comes in a crude form and needs lots of love to break it in, to make it a quality game ready ball. But totally worth it. Check out some YouTube videos on how different folks like to use to break the balls in. All are labor intensive and take time, but are a necessary step toward letting this ball realize its potential.

Bought this for my son and I to practice throwing and catching. It did not come in a box or any packaging which I thought was strange, but the product is perfectly fine. The leather feels good and has plenty of grip.
