I put it in the ground, and I need to move it so when I pulled it up the spikes came out of the bottom, bad concept, whoever designed this junk has never played softball before. Dont buy it, you have been warned.

I purchased this as a birthday gift for a baseball-obsessed young boy. Rather awkward having to gift something that was not in any product packaging -- it was just the pitching rubber and then the three spikes just hanging out in the shipping box. Sweet. I promise I'm not cheap picking up things out of public parks.

This is not your dime store pitching rubber, so if you are expecting something light and flimsy, look elsewhere. The spike require a mallet to pound down and you will prob need another bag to carry it with you. Once pounded in, it is secure and exactly what you need to practice.My daughter uses hers for her fast pitch softball training and we are very satisfied. I am not sure if it is regulation for games, but it's def good enough for serious practice.
