Worked well with my RMH while I was deciding on permanent bit. Like that it is adjustable. No pinching

Bought 2 of these for our Missouri Foxtrotting horses. The horses accept the bit readily instead of turning their heads away. I recommend getting the curb chain (that's not included) that goes under their chin. It's a gentle bit that doesn't pinch the tongue in the middle or the lips on the sides, but is still great to get a soft feel from your horse. Highly recommend.

There is no doubt that this is the simplest, most GENTLE bit we've ever used. Since the bit is not fixed you can neck rein or plow rein. Fully adjustable width from 4 1/2"-5 1/2". The bit sits on the mouth bars and leaves plenty of space for the horse's tongue. Nice little copper roller in the middle. You can choose to attach the reins in the middle for no leverage. We use the leverage rings and the horses respond very well. One of our horses is a flighty Arab and the other is a dominant calm Tennessee Walker who is much larger. The bit works well on both horses.
