I've pretty much been using these same bases for a decade as I run an adult kickball league. I go through about 6-8 sets a year. They hold up pretty well as I typically get about 20 games out of them before I start to see signs of ripping at all, but can still continue to use them for a while past that as well. The straps, however, usually come "connected" but backward to where you have to restrap them so the teeth properly grab to hold the strap. The connectors / teeth bend relatively easily. I typically properly strap up the bases then use Gorilla Tape to make sure the straps can't move or come undone from the connector / teeth. The spikes that come with the bases seem to be getting a bit lower in quality through the years. I have some old / rusted spiked that I'm pretty sure I've been using for 5 years, but the spikes that have come with the past few orders I've gotten tend to have the head break off leaving them useless. At the end of the day they work well enough for my needs, and I know I'm tough on them, but they could be a bit better like they used to be.
